Teaching and working terms:

1.Respectful Conduct: Both the teacher and the student must maintain mutual respect throughout every in person or online session. This includes professional communication, positive behavior, and a supportive learning environment. 

2. Student Participation

Students must make a genuine effort to practice speaking Chinese during each session. Students are also required to complete assigned homework after every lesson to ensure steady progress.

3. Cancellation Policy

Students must provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any pre‑scheduled session.

If no notice is given and the session is cancelled, the student is responsible for paying 50% of the hourly session fee.

4. Returned Check Policy

If a check is returned for any reason, the student must pay the full check amount in cash, along with any bank fees incurred. Payment must be made at the next scheduled session.

5. Remote Teaching Payment

All remote teaching fees must be pre‑paid and confirmed via PayPal or Zelle before the session begins. Sessions will not start without verified payment.

6. Translation Service Terms

Translation rates and payment terms will follow the signed contract agreed upon by both parties.
